Image flickers on screen due to video resolution incorrect.
Cause:
The video resolution in Windows 95 is set too high to be supported by the display unit.
Solution:
Lower the video resolution through the Windows 95 'Control Panel'.
NOTE: Experiment with the effects of the resolution changes. Start with the lowest 'Color palette' (16 colors) and 'Desktop size' (640 x 480) selection, and continue until the desired effect is reached.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Select an option from the 'Color palette' drop-down list box.

6) Click 'OK'. (The 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears.)
7) Click 'Yes' to restart the system so that the changes take effect now.
NOTE: Click 'No' to have the changes made the next time the computer is rebooted.
